The Good Night's Sleep Project

What Motivates Us

Stories like these, from people who suffer with sleep issues, are what motivates the team at Good Night’s Sleep Project to design solutions such as the custom tailored pillow.

Everyone has seven nights a week to sleep. Our goal is to get you closer to getting all seven nights of restful sleep.

If you’re at zero nights of sleep a week, let’s get you to one or two, for a start.

If you’re at five or six nights of good sleep, let’s get you to seven.

See below for some short stories of what potential customers have told us:

Pain Story 1:

I have trouble sleeping sometimes. I may experience pain once I am asleep or if I sleep too long. Sometimes I wake up during the night with back pain which I have been experiencing for the past six or seven years. I have gone to doctors, got a new bed, which helped a little bit, and I go to a chiropractor every three weeks. My boyfriend has neck and shoulder pain. He uses too many pillows and is sleeping crooked.

Pain Story 2:

I used to sleep on my arms and felt pain. I have had sleep apnea for the past 10 to 15 years and have used a therapeutic pillow but it was useless. I’ve spent a lot of money to try and resolve this sleeping issue.

Pain Story 3:

I have suffered from sleep apnea for the past few years and have been seeking medical treatment that has helped somewhat. My wife, Tanya, suffers from back pain that hinders her sleep.

Pain Story 4:

I sleep on my side and I am always tired. I mostly feel neck pain due to a crappy pillow. I also wake up two to three times a night. I have used more than one pillow since the problem started, but it hasn’t helped.

Pain Story 5:

I suffer from sleep apnea and I’ve been trying a lot of different things. I tried a bunch of different beds, mattresses, etc. I’ve also been trying other things but they’ve all kind of failed. The most recent thing I’ve seen is your pillow. I hope it lives up to the hype and the claims made.

Pain Story 6:

I have had problems in my life. I just lost my mother-in-law and things have been hectic. I just can’t get comfortable at night. I have had neck and back pain for the last two years. I have been going to a doctor and feel somewhat better. However, I have spent quite a bit of money, around $2000 per year, in trying to resolve my issues.

Pain Story 7:

I have had sleep apnea for eight or nine years and I wake frequently at night. I’ve seen doctors. I’ve tried the CPAP masks but it’s just horrible. I can’t get comfortable while wearing it and I sleep worse with the mask on than I do without it. I’ve spent so much money on doctor’s visits and CPAP equipment.

Pain Story 8:

I have a hard time falling asleep. I wake up in the middle of the night. I had a fall some years ago and I am suffering from whiplash. I’ve tried to get this taken care of and have spent a lot of money over the past 25 years.

Pain Story 9:

I have had trouble sleeping all my life. I’ve never had it checked. Doctors prescribed meds but I don’t take them. I am on Social security and SSI and I can’t afford most solutions.

Pain Story 10:

I have trouble sleeping. I have snored like a freight train for the past three years. I’m only 5’2” and 114 lbs. I sit on the computer a lot and I do have neck issues from time to time. I’ve tried nose strips and sprays as a potential solution, but they only helped a little bit.

Pain Story 11:

I have been suffering from sleep apnea for over eight years. My family complains about me snoring a lot. I tried using CPAP but it is very uncomfortable. I want a solution that helps to stop my snoring and let me fully sleep. I want to wake up fresh in the morning and not be sleepy. I want my family to stop complaining about my snoring. I just came back from vacation and my sister said that my snoring kept her up all night.

Pain Story 12:

I’ve been having trouble sleeping. Lately I’ve been having a lot of neck, upper back and shoulder pain. I think it’s because my pillow is too high and too hard. I’ve had the pillow for a few but it’s just since this summer that it’s giving me problems. I don’t know the reasons for it. I’m getting physical therapy right now and I think the pillow is inhibiting my progress as I still wake up every morning sore. I’ve spent over $600 in trying to find solutions.
